Featuring stable chemical properties and high magnesium content, it is an excellent natural raw material for manufacturing magnesium fertilizer. It is also widely used as high-quality feedstock for CCM, DMB and other high-grade magnesia products.
Magnesite appears as crystallized lumps, mostly white in color, with a specific gravity of 2.9–3.1 and hardness of 6–8.
